FAQ about Mission Trips to India
Trip Dates: January 3-11, 2019 (tenative)
How long is the trip? It is 9 days, with 6 on the ground in India.
Who leads the trip? Courtney Evans, our Global Partnerships Director, leads the trips and Brittany and Robbie Ross try to come as much as possible for their personal lives. As of now, they plan on going on the trip in January!
What vaccinations are needed? Please make sure you are up to date on the vaccinations necessary for India on the CDC website. One month before departure we will need to see proof of vaccinations before you are able to go.
What will we be doing? We will be showing you the realities of sex trafficking in India. We will be visiting Nai Asha, the safe house we help support, visiting the slums in Lucknow, and also doing tourist activities, which vary on trips. Normally tourist activities include the Taj Mahal, elephant rides, shopping in the local markets, etc.
What is important to Mission 108 in their Mission trips? We believe in making mission trips sustainable. The goal is to show where donations are going and seeing God's hand in the work of Nai Asha. Each cost of mission trips will include extra money that will be given to Nai Asha and other partners.
